I know, I dont write as often as I used to. I am tired a lot and this summer heat has got me all down and sluggy. Plus there aint much going on to report at this juncture. At any rate, I think I will just complain about this stupid, stupid heat that shows no sign of ever letting up, ever. That’s right. Even until Christmas. The heat makes me sick. And now it stormed last night and we don’t even have electricity, which is getting to be our Annual Pain In Our Asses, always when it’s going to be 103 degrees out. This weather just sucks, sucks, sucks and I can’t wait for fall and I hope we move to Seattle someday, where it is never 103 degrees.
And that’s all I have to say about that.

To both of you readers, one of whom actually is the subject of this post, let’s have a big round of applause for our friend Redforkhippie, who made it into Time Magazine’s August 20, 2007, issue with a blurb about her website and her stickin’ it to the Man (or perhaps The Moron) by not endorsing any Route 66 motel that advertises itself as “American owned”. Way to go Emily … on both points!
